Ashton Kutcher talks about the terrible symptoms of the autoimmune disease vasculitis.
Actor Ashton Kutcher, 44, says in an upcoming television appearance that he has contracted a rare autoimmune disease. Kutchner is a guest on National Geographic’s Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge, and Access Hollywood has released a preview of the episode.
Kutcher reveals that he got sick two years ago with a rare form of vasculitis.
– It stunned my sight, it stunned my hearing, it stunned all my balance, Kutcher describes his illness.

It took the actor a year to recover from serious symptoms.
– You can’t properly appreciate it until you lose it, before you think that you don’t know if you’ll ever be able to see, hear or walk again.
– I’m lucky to be alive, Kutcher sums up.
Kutcher does not specify what type of vasculitis he has in the clip.
