The Tuzos of the Uruguayan strategist Guillermo Almada conquered the Apertura 2022 tournament
This match marks the start of the 2023-2024 season
The Uruguayan Fernando Gorriarán and the Argentine Nicolás Ibáñez scored this Sunday a goal each so that Tigres UANL defeated Tuzos del Pachuca 2-1 in the match for the Champion of Champions trophy of the 2022-2023 season of Mexican soccer.
Israel Luna scored for Pachuca. The result turned the team led by the Uruguayan Robert Dante Siboldi into the best club in the country last year and it meant the fourth time that the cats obtained this title.

The Tigers dominated the first halfwhile Pachuca, with a renewed squad compared to that of the 2022 Apertura title, suffered to generate association football.

The duel did not change in the second part and after a missed Vigón, who at 69 crashed a header into the right post of the Argentine Óscar Ustari, goalkeeper of Pachuca, Ibáñez certified the victory.
