The excitement in the NBA play-offs continued with 2 matches. In the first leg of the Western Conference semifinals, Los Angeles Lakers defeated last year’s champion Golden State Warriors 117-112 and started the series with a win. Anthony Davis scored 30 points, 23 rebounds and 5 assists for the Lakers, while LeBron James scored a double-double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. In Warriors, Stephen Curry’s 27 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, Klay Thompson’s 25 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds could not prevent the defeat. The second game of the series will be held on May 4 at Golden State’s court.
BRINGS THE SERIES 1-1 AGAINST KNICKS HEAT
In Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, the New York Knicks defeated the Miami Heat 111-105 at home to level the series. Jalen Brunson had 30 points and 5 rebounds, Julius Randle had 25 points, 12 rebounds and RJ Barrett had 24 points and 3 assists for the Knicks. Caleb Martin had 22 points and 8 rebounds for the Heat, Gabe Vincent had 21 points, 5 assists and Max Strus had 17 points. Game 3 of the series will be played on May 6 in Miami.
