Loriot’s daughter presents the humorist’s animated film revue

In a good mood despite the rainy weather at the Berlinale

For Loriot it would probably be the best present for his upcoming 100th birthday: At the Berlinale on Friday, his daughter Susanne von Bülow presented the film “Loriots Große Animated Film Revue”.

On November 12, the famous humorist would have been 100 years old. He died on August 22, 2011. Director Peter Geyer has compiled his 31 best-known cartoons from television in “Loriot’s big cartoon revue”. The film was produced by Loriot’s daughters Susanne and Bettina von Bülow.

However, daughter Bettina was not present at the premiere in the “Haus der Berliner Festspiele” on Friday. Instead, at the side of daughter Susanne: her nephew and Bettina von Bülow’s son Leopold.

The film “Loriots Große Animatedfilmrevue” officially starts in German cinemas on April 20th.
