Italian tennis star Lorenzo Musetti became a father last year and has now had another son. He happily shared this with his fans.
In the ATP world rankings, Lorenzo Musetti is five places behind German star Alexander Zverev in eighth place. Shortly before the end of the year, the Italian shared good news with his fans: he has become a father for the second time.
His son Ludovio was born in March of last year. Now he has a brother named Leandro, who was born on November 29th. Musetti and his partner Veronica Confalonieri shared a photo on Instagram.
In the black and white snapshot, the 23-year-old can be seen lovingly holding the hand of his newborn son. The picture shows the little boy in a soft onesie with a bib as he grasps his father’s thumb with his tiny fingers. Part of the baby’s face can also be seen – an intimate and touching moment that the tennis player shares with his followers.
He wrote: “Love multiplies.” Numerous companions, like Holger Rune, congratulated under the post. The Dane is ranked 15th in the world. The Italian tennis player Sara Errani, who won gold in doubles at the Olympic Games in Paris, was also among the well-wishers.
Musetti won bronze in the individual event at the Olympic Games in Paris last year. He has earned over 11 million dollars (around 9.5 million euros) in prize money in his career so far. Musetti sees Jannik Sinner, second in the world rankings, not only as a competitor, but also as a role model. This is what the Italian said about his compatriot in a recent interview with “La Repubblica”: “He’s not an enemy who takes my breath away, he’s a champion who shows the way.”
