Lorenzo Mattotti’s exhibition, jazz, theater and bees: events not to be missed

CThere are paintings, drawings, sketches, posters and short films among the 250 works in Lorenzo Mattotti. Stories, rhythms, movements they tell the experience of the brilliant artist from Brescia, from his underground debut to his work for newspapers such as New Yorker And Le Monde, to comics and animated films.

The world to come

Six contemporary artists – Sophia Al Maria, Mo Kong, the Sitesize collective, Jonas Staal, Natália Trejbalová and Driant Zeneli – were invited to reflect with as many works on the present and the problematic future of our planet.

Great anticipation for Bologna Jazz Festival 2023whose program features the musical presence of Hiromi, Samara Joy, Ron Carter, Bill Frisell, Steve Coleman.

Their works will be exhibited in the Sala Borsa from 3 to 26 November, as well as on the walls of the city.

The protagonist of the first of the great live shows in the theater on November 7th will be Hiromi Ueharathe Japanese pianist who has become a global phenomenon thanks to her technique that goes beyond the limits of what is humanly executable.

Ron Carterone of the greatest double bass players in the history of modern jazz will perform on November 12th at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni in Bologna.

Nomadic Museum

The Merz Foundation presents the new exhibition project Through the Palestinian Museum of Natural History and Humankindof the artist Khalil Rabah.

The exhibition was born as an extension of Palestinian Museum of Natural History and Humankind (PMNHHk), art project developed as a nomadic museum institution which the artist inaugurated in 2003.
