Wiebes won a day earlier the opening stage already in a bunch sprint and thanks to her victory on Saturday strengthened her leading position in the standings. The RideLondon Classique, a race that is part of the WorldTour, ends tomorrow with a short stage of 85 kilometers in London.
The last edition of the RideLondon Classique, which was then still a one-day race, was also won by Wiebes. After that, the competition was canceled for two years due to the corona pandemic. For Wiebes it meant her sixth victory of the season today.
