Many Palestinians have fled to Rafah since the start of Israel’s invasion of Gaza. Rafah is the southernmost city in the Gaza Strip, on the border with Egypt. There are currently about 1.4 million people in Rafah. The pressure on the city’s hospitals has therefore become enormous.
