President Vladimir Putin gave his annual address to the Russian parliament today. As expected, he lashed out at the West in his speech, which lasted nearly two hours. Despite Putin’s warmongering tone, some attendees seemed to find the speech far from exciting. For example, several confidants of the head of state, including ex-president Dmitry Medvedev, had difficulty fighting sleep.
