Rising inflation and increased import costs are making it increasingly difficult for Russians to buy eggs. The price has risen by more than 40 percent since the beginning of the year. Russians therefore choose to buy their eggs from local traders instead of paying the increased prices in the supermarket, even though they have to wait in a very long line.
