LOOK. Putin: “Russian weapons are superior to those of NATO” | War Ukraine and Russia

The weapons that Russia produces are better than those of the NATO countries. Russian President Vladimir Putin (71) made this claim today at a forum in the industrial city of Tula. “If you look at our latest weapons, they are clearly superior. That is a fact,” Putin said confidently.

Putin today attended a forum in the Russian industrial city of Tula, in the west of the country. The meeting was organized by the All-Russian Popular Front (ONF), an association of pro-government political parties and movements.

During the forum, the President emphasized that the Russian defense industry is doing excellent work at a good pace. Putin even went so far as to claim that Russian weapons are better than those of NATO countries. “If we compare NATO’s weapons with those of the Soviet period, NATO’s are superior in some aspects, but this does not apply to all weapons,” Putin said.

“But if you look at our latest weapons, they are clearly superior to those of NATO. That’s just a fact,” he continued. The Russian head of state clarified that he was talking about “missiles, armored vehicles and everything used on the battlefield.”
