You can look forward to nice summer weather next week. According to Wilfred Janssen of Weerplaza, it can reach 25 degrees in the rural areas for the first time this year on Tuesday.
Wilfred told the radio program ‘Weekend’ on Omroep Brabant on Saturday morning that there will be plenty of room for the sun again at the beginning of next week. “It could be 23 or 24 degrees on Monday. We will see some more clouds on Tuesday, but the air we are in will then be a bit warmer.”
Couple of spicy showers
It won’t be cold this weekend either. This Saturday the temperature will be 18 to 20 degrees locally. “Not too much wind, so a great day for this time of year.”
There will be a few showers on Saturday afternoon. “Especially in the east of the province, a few can develop into a heavy shower, with locally a lot of rain in a short time. This can also include thunderstorms and maybe some small hailstones. These are very local showers, so the chance that you has to deal with this is fortunately very small.”
nice weather cumulus clouds
According to Wilfred, the clouds that we will have to deal with on Saturday will disappear later in the evening and night. “Then we will have broad clearings. The temperature will drop to 7 degrees next night.”
Sunday will be a radiant Mother’s Day. The day starts with lots of sunshine and this weather lasts for the rest of the morning and much of the afternoon. “In the end we see nice weather cumulus clouds forming, but it remains dry everywhere. The temperature will be 19 or 20 degrees, just like Saturday.”
