Scott took the main stage at 11:30 p.m. last night during the festival, which attracts around 70,000 visitors annually. Images show how the fan suddenly jumps over a crowd barrier from the audience, climbs onto the stage and dives forward. But even before he is well and truly on his feet, he is masterfully rendered harmless.
A man who seems to be from security sees him coming and doesn’t hesitate for a second. He storms forward with his hands in front of his chest and literally knocks the fan off the stage. It falls backwards and is immediately taken away by security personnel.
‘Les Ardentes’ started on Thursday and continues until today.
