A woman from Zulzeke in East Flanders saved a life this weekend thanks to her sharp hearing. She woke up in the night and heard someone calling for help in the distance. Her husband heard nothing. But she called the police anyway, and a good thing too: they were able to rescue a severely hypothermic man from a stream hundreds of meters away.
