FC Emmen was honored tonight at the Raadhuisplein in Emmen. The Drenthe club secured promotion to the Eredivisie last night by winning at FC Dordrecht.
After the final whistle, there was already a party on the field, then in the dressing room and deep into the night when they returned to Emmen. Tonight at 6.30 pm the brand new PhD student was honored on the Raadhuisplein. The broadcast started at 5.30 pm, from the ATLAS Café on the Raadhuisplein.
The broadcast, which was presented by René Posthuma and Niels Dijkhuizen, included trainer Dick Lukkien, chairman Ronald Lubbers and mayor Eric van Oosterhout.
