Surveillance footage has been shared of the arrest of top criminal Josip Mihajlovic (27) in a hotel in Madrid. On February 20, the Spanish authorities succeeded in arresting the Croat in the Spanish capital. Mihajlovic is followed shortly after his arrival in a hotel lobby by three agents in Brugger. While Mihajlovic is busy on his phone, the agents are able to surround and overpower him. He is wanted in his home country of Croatia for serious crimes, including attempted murder. This is how Mihajlovic ended up on Europol’s European list of the most wanted criminals. Mihajlovic faces life in prison.
