The French leather goods specialist Longchamp was able to grow strongly in the 2023 financial year. The company announced on Tuesday that sales had increased by 44 percent compared to the previous year, reaching a new record level, without giving specific figures.
All market regions and sales channels contributed to the significant increase, according to a statement. Revenues developed particularly dynamically in mainland China (+84 percent). In Germany, too, the rate of increase was above average at around 58 percent.
Another growth driver was our own online business, whose sales exceeded the previous year’s level by 56 percent. Since 2019, online revenues have “quintupled,” the company explained.
