There is a long traffic jam on the A28 between Meppel and Zwolle this morning due to road works. At its peak, the traffic jam between exit Zuidwolde and Staphorst was about twenty kilometers.
Work is underway on the road between Staphorst and Nieuwleusen. Rijkswaterstaat expects the road to be reopened around 11 a.m. this morning. The road is now clear again in the direction of Groningen.
