UK authorities may take action against law firms that begin to provide assistance to Russian businessmen who are under sanctions and wish to challenge their inclusion in the sanctions list, citing the office of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson reported The Guardian.
“We will certainly consider all options. This is an incredibly serious situation, and we want to take all possible measures to increase the pressure on [президента России Владимира] Putin to get him off that path,” a spokesman for Johnson’s office said.
According to him, “citizens or companies helping” the Russian authorities “should refuse this.”
