The couple bought a building plot ten years ago, but during the works they suddenly encountered an enormous water pipe that provides drinking water to around 150,000 Limburgers. “That was not stated in the deed of sale.” After legal proceedings that have been dragging on for years, a construction site that has been at a standstill ever since and an accumulation of setbacks later, they tell their story: “If we had known about the water pipe, we would never have bought the land!”
