Former Miss Finland and entrepreneur Lola Odusoga, 45, has long dreamed of writing a book. I’ve been thinking about making a detective story.
– I thought that maybe it would happen when I passed the age limit of 60 or 70, i.e. much later, Odusoga tells Iltalehte Knock– in the movie’s invited guest evening.
The detective idea was left to incubate when the favorite miss was asked to write a children’s book. The publisher contacted Odusoga after reading his blog posts and soon the collaboration began to take shape.
– I never thought of such a genre as a children’s book. It has been terribly exciting and new. Jump straight into the deep end – the world of children’s books. A complete stranger, Odusoga describes.
Odusoga’s first book will be published next week. Odusoga has been working on his book project from last year, among other works.
– The book revolves around a girl who has a secret about her hair. She can talk to her hair. I believe that even adults can get something out of this, says Odusoga.
A new phase of life
Odusoga is also living a new period in his civil life.
– One child lives at home. We’ll probably be alone soon, I don’t know when. This is a different stage of life, he says.
Odusoga has 16- and 18-year-old children.
According to him, he often uses the free time according to the same formula.
– To work, that’s what it often goes to.
– Sometimes it’s rare to go on a business trip the day before so that you can go to a movie with a friend. This is a rare treat, Odusoga says in the cinema.
