Loes Mulder will be acting secretary-general at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. She will start on Monday 21 August and will temporarily fill the position after the departure of Maarten Schurink.

Loes Mulder was SG at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment until January 2023. After 6 years at SZW and a sabbatical at the beginning of this year, she started with various interim jobs, including for Groningen and North Drenthe. Before that, she worked as director-general at various ministries, including at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. Loes brings a lot of knowledge and experience with her and she can quickly fulfill the role of SG at BZK. Both within the organization and interdepartmentally.
Loes Mulder: “It’s great to come and work at BZK for the third time! Now temporarily as SG for the entire ministry. I will do my best to be of real value to BZK employees and the people for whom BZK works in that short period of time.”
Loes starts on Monday 21 August. The procedure for a permanent successor will start soon.
