Chairman Hein Akerboom, of the neighborhood association De Weide, was already making the first fresh rolls for the now traditional Easter breakfast at a quarter to four.

Dozens of (young) families had signed up for breakfast, which meant that the hall was packed on Easter Monday. The local residents could put together their own breakfast at a table with all kinds of goodies.

After breakfast the whole group left for Echten. There, volunteers from the neighborhood association have hidden eggs in the play forest. The Easter breakfast has become so big that there is already a waiting list for the next edition.
