Berlin police, regulatory office, customs and LKA checked seven bars in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg on Thursday evening – with success.
A total of more than 30 kilos of illegal or adulterated shisha tobacco were seized – more than 20 kilos in a shisha bar on Karl-Marx-Allee alone.
There were two arrests on Peterburger Strasse. One person was wanted with an arrest warrant, the second person was illegally in Germany.
A “sports bar” and a bar located directly next to it were closed and sealed in Pfuelstrasse in Kreuzberg. Illegal gambling is said to have taken place in the back rooms.
