Liz Truss third premier for the United Kingdom
Except for last minute surprises, therefore, Truss will therefore be the British premierthe fourth since the Brexit referendum in 2016. But it will also be the third woman in this position after, in fact, Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May.
The new Iron Lady to the Government
Expert, conservative politics, Truss forged his image on the Iron Lady, as she is also called by her supporters. You have held ministerial posts for ten years and then conquered the base promising massive tax cuts and adopting a very harsh tone against the unions.
But if for many conservatives it is the favorite, according to critics, the foreign minister it would not have the thickness necessary to lead the country between the economic turmoil and the war in Ukraine.
Between Brexit and skyrocketing inflation, no easy task
In any case, if everything goes as it seems, Truss will succeed Boris Johnson, forced to resign in early July in the wake of a series of scandals. But his task will not be easy at this moment between inflation and expensive energy.
And he will have to respond urgently the surge in bills that is strangling familiesschools, hospitals and businesses and sparking social conflicts like never before since the Thatcher years.
Who is Liz Truss

Evidently without too much conviction, then given the participation, first as Secretary of Commerce and then Foreign Affairs, to the Johnson governmentstrongly pro-Brexit.
As foreign minister, she was at the forefront of the support for Ukraine and at Western sanctions against Russia.
