Living in a location where you got fresh bread in a gray past. This is possible at the Hoofdstraat 125 in Zuidwolde, because apartments and houses will be built where the baker Drost provided his customers with bread and other delicacies.
The council has adopted the plan, which includes the construction of four apartments, six patio houses and four semi-detached houses, all owner-occupied. The zoning plan has been submitted to the province of Drenthe, the WDOD water board, Rendo and the Drenthe Safety Region, and they have all been approved.
Most of the buildings on the plot have already been demolished, only the old bakery still has to be demolished. The new building has been designed in such a way that it fits into the existing environment. The existing trees in the plan area will be preserved. The same applies to a large part of the existing lawn. This concerns the part between the houses located to the east and in the houses in the middle of the plan area.
