Liverpool FC releases a documentary to mark the farewell of its coach Jürgen Klopp. The Premier League leaders confirmed corresponding plans on Wednesday. The multi-part series is scheduled to air at the end of the season.
“As this is my last season, I thought we should offer viewers a rare opportunity to get an insight into what makes this club so special,” Klopp said in a statement. Fans could “see what I experience every day at this great club and better understand these amazing people.” Liverpool currently still has a chance of winning four titles this season.
In the past, similar film projects at Liverpool FC have failed several times because Klopp spoke out against them, British media recently reported. Several other Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, had previously had cameras accompany them for the documentary series “All Or Nothing” by streaming provider Prime Video.
Jürgen Klopp surprisingly announced on Friday that he would be stepping down as coach of Liverpool FC after the season. His contract at Anfield actually ran until mid-2026. However, Klopp was running out of energy, explaining his decision.
