The multi-million transfer from Darwin Nunez to coach Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool FC is perfect.
The 22-year-old striker comes from Benfica and has signed a long-term contract, the Reds announced. According to the broadcaster “Sky Sports News”, the contract has a term of six years.
According to Benfica figures on Monday, Liverpool will pay a transfer fee of 75 million euros for the Uruguayan. With bonus payments, the transfer volume could increase to 100 million euros.
During his two seasons in Portugal, Núñez has scored 48 goals in 85 appearances for Benfica in all competitions.
Nunez is considered Liverpool’s successor to Sadio Mané, who is under discussion at Bayern Munich.
