Manchester City continues to challenge Arsenal in the Premier League title race.

CIty narrowed the points difference between the teams to two again, but you have to remember that the Gunners have one game in arrears to play.

City’s 4–1 away win over Bournemouth didn’t leave much to tell posterity. The team already jumped to a decisive 3–0 halftime lead, world champion by Julián Álvarez, Erling Haaland’s and by Phil Foden with goals.

Haaland’s 0-2 hit in the 29th minute was statistically significant. It was the Norwegian giant’s 27th league goal of the season, which meant he broke City’s record in the Premier League.

It is expected that Haaland will move the record firmly to the other side of 30 goals, as the team still has 13 rounds to play.

Liverpool dropped points again

In the evening, Liverpool continued their difficult season at Selhurst Park. During the week, Pool had collapsed in the Champions League match against Real Madrid, and the team could not beat Crystal Palace either.

The 0-0 final result reflects both Liverpool’s ineffectiveness and the away team’s good fortune. The best place in the match fell to the French at the very end of the opening period For Jean-Philippe Matetawhose shot, however, stopped on the top bar.

The situation was preceded by a star pack Trent Alexander-Arnold a terrible loss of possession, which for its part says everything about Liverpool’s difficulties.

Sure, too Mo Salah and Diogo Jota rattled the goalposts, but just couldn’t get the ball to the net.
