The excitement in the UEFA Champions League continued with the quarter-finals. In the match played in Portugal in the first leg, Liverpool defeated their opponent 3-1. The rematch, which took the form of a goal duel, ended in a 3-3 draw.
While Liverpool’s goals came from Konate and Firmino (2), Ramos, Yaremchuk and Nunez scored the visitors’ goals.
After these results, Liverpool were paired with Villarreal, who eliminated Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.
The first leg of the semi-finals will be hosted by Liverpool on April 27, while the second leg will be played in Spain on May 4.
