In MotoGP, Marco Bezzecchi starts from pole position. He set the fastest time yesterday with 1’32.405, followed by Fabio Quartararo and Pecco Bagnaia. Yesterday afternoon there was also a sprint race, which was convincingly won by Bezzecchi.
One class lower, in Moto2, Alonso López will start from the first starting position this afternoon. He drove a time of 1’36.247. Zonta van den Goorbergh, the only Dutchman in Moto2 due to Bo Bendsneyder’s injury, set the 23rd fastest time. The crash he made the day before during training was still too much in his head.
David Muñoz took pole in Moto3 yesterday with a time of 1’41.181. The Spaniard took his first career pole position. The 18-year-old Collin Veijer from Staphorst qualified ninth.
