Carel Eiting and FC Volendam have been on a collision course with each other for weeks. There is an emergency arbitration case between player and the club on the program tonight at the KNVB campus in Zeist.

According to Volendam, they have made good agreements with Eiting about the resale percentage. “It is not true that we want to keep Eiting at all costs. Our task is to look for successors as a training club. The transfer must be made in the right way.”

The lawyer now reports that it seems as if there is ‘one-two’ between Eiting and FC Twente. “This arbitration committee seems to be a means of pressure to push the transfer through.”
“Volendam also feels cheated and cheated, the game is played by camp Twente and Eiting. First terminate the contract in the meantime, but there are no reasons for that.”
“When I announced FC Twente’s interest in Jasper van Leeuwen, I was mainly opposed by the club.”

Eiting’s lawyer asks the footballer’s father to add to the main points. “Carel wants to go to FC Twente, the intention is for three years. Agreements have also been made about conditions for a transfer during the transfer window.” His salary is 400,000 euros, his father confirms after inquiry by the arbitration committee.
“There is currently an offer from FC Twente of 500,000 euros for Eiting. That offer is valid until 5 p.m. on August 24.”

Eiting’s lawyer states that the intention of the collaboration was for one year. “He would then make the maximum effort. The club would also cooperate in a transfer. Preferably immediately after the previous season (22/23). Volendam was seen as a true springboard.”
“FC Volendam does not comply with the written agreements and wants to keep Eiting against his will. He feels cheated and cheated and feels part of a bigger game. There was such an unsafe working climate that the club doctor and GP advised to call in sick. “
“It is a pity that he has been put away as a bogeyman,” continues Eiting’s lawyer. “In the summer of 2022, Eiting spoke with several clubs in the Netherlands and Germany. Sporting picture was right at Volendam. Money was secondary, especially the favorable transfer agreements appealed to him.”
FC Twente offered 400,000 euros for the midfielder in July, but FC Volendam resolutely rejected that. The team from Volendam extended his contract unilaterally by one year until 2025.
That is against the sore leg of Kamp-Eiting, because according to them that option would only be discussed next year. The asking price has meanwhile risen to 2.5 million euros for Twente.
He called in sick twice for a match (against KV Kortrijk and Vitesse). Last Friday he applied for an urgent arbitration case at the KNVB.
