The unions are holding a national day of action today. Hundreds of flights have been canceled at Brussels Airport due to a strike by security personnel and a large demonstration in Brussels will soon follow. Only about 60 percent of the buses and 40 percent of the trams run at De Lijn. Strikes are also underway in other sectors, including some city services.
