LIVE UKRAINE. Injured in attack on Dnipro – Advisor Zelensky: “Prigozhin signed his own death warrant with rebellion”

An unknown number of victims were killed in an attack early Thursday morning on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. So says the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region Serchy Lisak. The attack happened on Ukrainian Independence Day: on August 24, 1991, Ukraine declared its independence from the former Soviet Union. The Russian authorities – unlike Wagner himself – have still not confirmed that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of Wagner’s mercenary army, actually died in the plane crash north of Moscow on Wednesday. Prigozhin was on the passenger list of the crashed private plane, according to the Russian air traffic agency. Follow all news about the war in Ukraine in our live blog.
