Today there was still a lot of precipitation throughout the country. Only in the provinces of Liège, Namur and Luxembourg is code yellow still applicable for rain, but in some places in Flanders people also had to contend with flooding. In Geraardsbergen, eight houses were evacuated due to the high water level and two houses also had to be evacuated in Afsnee near Ghent. The weather has already claimed two victims: yesterday a woman from Lembeke died and a cyclist had a serious fall in Beveren. Several roofs were torn loose in Sint-Katelijne-Waver and Putte this evening by a tornado.
