LIVE | ‘Tro Tardi Zes Kills’, emailed John S. after a shooting drama on a care farm, today he will hear a sentence | Interior

Today, during the third day of the hearing, John S. will hear what punishment is demanded against him after the cold-blooded shooting at care farm Tro Tardi in Alblasserdam. He is suspected of the murders of the 34-year-old employee Nathalie of care farm Tro Tardi in Alblasserdam, the 16-year-old client Ann-Sofie from Dordrecht and the Vlissingen shoemaker Johan Quist. And of two attempted murders and threats.

The 39-year-old man from Oud-Alblas has known to have killed the three last year on May 4 and 6. In April, he told the court that he had blindfolded the shoemaker from Vlissingen in the head during a sex date, on May 4 last year.

Two days later, on May 6, 2022, S. came armed to the care farm and almost immediately shot at the first two people he encountered at the horse enclosure. 34-year-old Nathalie was killed, 20-year-old Fleur was seriously injured. Shortly afterwards, S. entered the canteen and shot dead 16-year-old Ann-Sofie who was walking towards him. The then 12-year-old Roan was also seriously injured.

S. is suspected of three murders and two attempted murders. The reason and trigger is still a guess. According to S., the murder of the Vlissingen shoemaker was ‘just a test’ for the eventual drama on the care farm. On Tro Tardi he himself spent some time in the past. He got into a relationship with the then minor Kirsten.

‘Tro Tardi six kills’

Kirsten’s victim lawyer indicated yesterday that it was a “toxic relationship” between Kirsten, who is mentally retarded and has the mental faculties of an 8-year-old, and John S., who was dominant and much older. According to the now 34-year-old woman, she wanted to break up, but S. did not allow that. In the days before the murder, he sent her threats via WhatsApp. Including a photo of the tied and bloodied shoemaker Johan Quist. On May 6, he fired bullets at Tro Tardi care farm. Twenty minutes later he emails the results to RTL: ‘Tro Tardi six kills’.

The next of kin and the victims who survived had their say in court yesterday. An impressive day, in which it became especially clear how the shooting drama still holds everyone in its grip. Here you read the live blog back back from yesterday. And here the finished story.
