The Tour of Lombardy is the fifth and final cycling monument of the year. Tomorrow is Paris-Tours, but the ‘race of the falling leaves’ is still seen by many as the traditional end of the road season. Tadej Pogacar is the defending champion, but he will have competition from Primoz Roglic – who is riding his last race for Jumbo-Visma – and Remco Evenepoel, among others.
