Only two Swiss women
In the case of the Swiss women, only two starters will start today. Only Lena Häcki (40) and Amy Baserga (17) met the strict Swiss Olympic selection guidelines and are allowed to get involved today. In next Wednesday’s season, they will be reinforced by Selina Gasparin and Irene Cadurisch.

Will Herrmann strike again?
After her surprising gold coup and the strong running and shooting performance in the individual, Denise Herrmann from the German team must of course be counted among the narrow favorites for gold today. She will be starting number 9 on the demanding track today. However, Vanessa Voigt (38) should certainly also be considered, who just barely missed the medal in the individual and had already shown before the Olympics that she had arrived at the top of the world.
