VfB Stuttgart deservedly lead 1-0 at the break in Bochum. VfL actually got into the game better and had a few shots, but VfB scored the first goal with their first dangerous move. After that, the Swabians took over the game and have actions from time to time. Hardly anything was to be seen from the hosts. In the last ten minutes there were hardly any chances from the guests either and so the game splashed towards half-time. Will the hosts come back or will VfB score important points in the relegation battle today?

Most recently, the team from the Ruhr area drew 1-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt.
