After 45 minutes, the course seems to have been set long ago. Tottenham Hotspur leads 3-0 at home against Everton. The game didn’t seem to want to pick up speed at first, at first there was no indication at all of three goals. Without even marveling at a shot on goal, it was suddenly 1-0 after almost a quarter of an hour. An own goal by Michael Keane made that possible. The first shot on goal of this encounter then sat and led to the 2:0 just under three minutes later. The poisonous hosts countered happily and scored a third goal. The larger game shares therefore did not help the guests. Frank Lampard’s men just couldn’t finish it. Only one shot on goal by the Toffees was counted and it was a blocked attempt. Ultimately, Everton are well served with the result as Antonio Conte’s side had two or three more chances to clear things up.
