Borussia Dortmund was 3-0 up at Sevilla FC at the break in the Champions League group game. They took the lead through Guerreiro in the 6th minute. The Andalusians had top chances for a quick equalizer out of the blue with two free shots from En-Nesyri (11th). They were the starting signal for an offensive phase by the home side, which, however, did not lead to further clear conclusions. Only after a good 25 minutes did the Westphalians show more presence in midfield again. They negligently failed to convert a quick counter-attack into a shot on goal (33′). Sevilla then narrowly missed the equalizer twice by En-Nesyri (37′) and José Ángel (39′) before the Bundesliga team added two and three goals in the closing stages through Bellingham (41′) and Adeyemi (43′).
