26′
9:56 p.m
Yanni Wetzell is successful from the free throw line and ensures that you at least stay in the game. Facundo Campazzo then plays a fantastic three-pointer from the dribble into the basket. Tavares then scores with an alley oop.
25′
9:52 p.m
Real Madrid seems quite unfocused and has a lot of turnovers. But then Mario Hezonja is there and crosses the Berlin barrel with a successful throw from the pear.
25′
9:51 p.m
Musa is finding more and more fun in the game and scoring points in transition. On the other hand, Thiemann tries a post-up match, but ultimately plays the ball back. The ball ends up in a detour at Delow, who scores from outside. Finally a threesome from Alba! It was only the third successful three-pointer in this match.
24′
9:50 p.m
After two turnovers in a row, Gabriele Procida managed the steal and was able to score for the Berliners with a fast break and layup.
23′
9:48 p.m
Thiemann is there in defense against Ndiaye and produces a step error. He then asserted himself physically against Ndiaye again in the offense and hit Brett half-falling.
22′
9:47 p.m
Džanan Musa moves to the basket, but does so with little speed and a lot of physical effort. Ultimately, however, he gets a foul from a Berliner whistled for him. However, he only hits one of two shots from the line. But Real regained possession of the ball, allowing Musa to score his next points with a layup.

While the picture is failing in Madrid, the hosts score the first two points in the second half through Facundo Campazzo.

Start of 3rd quarter
20′
9:34 p.m
Half-time conclusion:
The heavy favorite Real Madrid leads 44:33 at halftime. The Madrilenians were able to pull away with a few successful three-pointers in the first quarter, whereas the Berliners had poor shooting rates. In the second quarter, however, Alba increasingly managed to break the hosts’ offensive rhythm. However, the guests continued to have difficulty creating good throws. Only the German national player Johannes Thiemann was able to provide highlights and limit the damage with a very strong second quarter. Overall, the Berliners are probably not completely dissatisfied with only eleven points behind. The defense is making life difficult for Real, which is a good sign. The only thing that simply needs to be done better is the throws.
20′
9:29 p.m
The last ball in the first half belongs to the Madrilenians, but there are only 4.8 seconds left on the clock. This causes Sergio Llull to throw from the center line, which misses its target by a wide margin when the shotgun expires.
20′
9:28 p.m
After a weak first quarter, it is now Johannes Thiemann alone who is keeping Alba in the game. The 29-year-old hits a three-pointer from the corner, making his points eight, nine and ten. In fact, Thiemann scored all of Alba’s last ten points himself.
19′
9:27 p.m
Johannes Thiemann tries a spin move, but makes a step error. Actually, Alba should have had possession due to a foul by Edy Tavares. Real then succeeded with a floater from Sergio Llull.
19′
9:25 p.m
The Madrilenians are once again successful from outside, but Thiemann marks the next points. Unfortunately, he cannot take advantage of the and-one chance with a missed free throw.
18′
9:24 p.m
Khalifa Koumadje is played under the basket but cannot mark any points. After another missed throw, Thiemann is successful in the offensive rebound and scores his next points. The German international comes into the game better.
18′
9:22 p.m
It’s really not nice to see what Alba is firing from the field and especially from the three-point line towards the basket. But Edy Tavares misses a mid-range throw, which means Alba wins the ball and Thiemann is successful in the post up.
17′
9:21 p.m
Rodriguez receives the screen from Eli John Ndiaye and is given a free mid-range shot, but it falls short. In return, Johannes Thiemann is fouled and goes to the line. From there he at least scores his first point, but clearly misses the second free throw.
16′
9:19 p.m
A medium-distance throw from Malte Delow finds its target and brings the Berliners closer. In return, Sergio Rodríguez tries a drive, but makes a step error.
15′
9:18 p.m
Berlin head coach Israel González takes a break and demands to have less respect for the opponent. However, the Madrilenians are the team that will score the next points. After a pass from Sergio Rodríguez, Alberto Abalde from Downtown scores.
14′
9:17 p.m
The next throw from outside by Sergio Rodríguez is too short. The Madrilenians’ quota from the three-point line is only 40 percent. However, the Berliners obviously won’t get any closer if they only hit 14 percent of their threes. With 9/26 field goals, the rate is generally very weak from Alba’s perspective.
14′
9:15 p.m
Praise from Sergio Rodríguez is too high, but Berlin cannot take advantage of the fast break chance. Both teams are currently having problems.
13′
9:14 p.m
Alberto Abalde’s kick-out pass finds Rudy Fernández at the three-point line. He throws without hesitation, but doesn’t hit because the ball spins out of the basket quite unfortunately. The Madrilenians’ next offensive also failed because Abalde failed to hit a deep three-pointer. Tim Schneider’s subsequent threesome is also too short.
12′
9:12 p.m
Gabriele Procida tries a drive to the basket, but is fouled by Alberto Abalde. The Italian goes to the free throw line and throws the ball through the ring twice.
11′
9:08 p.m
Sergio Rodríguez serves Vincent Poirier with an alley oop, which means the first points go to the Madrilenians in the second quarter.

Start of 2nd quarter
10′
9:07 p.m
Quarter conclusion:
The Berliners kept up well, especially in the opening minutes, but had to let the Madrilenians go in the middle of the first quarter. In particular, the successful throws from downtown have made the difference so far.
10′
9:04 p.m
Procida attracts two defenders and plays an outstanding pass from the three-point line to Schneider, who is under the basket and can complete the dunk. It’s okay!
10′
9:03 p.m
Real Madrid finds Edy Tavares under the basket, who is fouled and prevented from scoring his next direct points. Real-Rise hits one of two free throws, but increases the lead.
9′
9:01 p.m
After a decent start from Alba Berlin, the differences are now becoming quite clear. In particular, Real’s three-pointer rate of 67 percent is of course strikingly better than that of Berlin’s 25 percent. The Madrilenians also aim much more accurately when it comes to two-point throws. It is also worrying that the hosts are 10:3 ahead in terms of rebounds. This should be the only category in which Berlin can compete.
8th’
8:59 p.m
Both teams have a few problems on offense after the high-scoring start. As a result, both turnovers occur. Ultimately, however, it is the hosts who are successful again thanks to a successful throw from downtown in the person of Mario Hezonja. The Croatian already has eleven points to his name.
7′
8:57 p.m
After a time out, Facundo Campazzo goes to the line. The very accurate guard doesn’t show any weakness and makes both throws. In return, Thiemann tries on his own, but is fouled by Eli John Ndiaye. Berlin continues with possession of the ball, but a three-pointer from the corner by Thiemann falls short. The German world champion is the only Berliner in the starting five who does not yet appear on the scoreboard.
6′
8:55 p.m
Johannes Thiemann can hold his own in the post up, but cannot finish. Although the 2.22 meter giant Khalifa Koumadje secures the rebound, he cannot prevail against Edy Tavares, who is by no means physically inferior, and is blocked.
5′
20:53
Malte Delow tries the post up against a Madrilenian and is able to complete it successfully. At least the Berliners are keeping up as best they can.
4′
20:52
Edy Tavares draws a foul and scores twice from the line. The Berliners then produce a turnover. The Madrilenians don’t take this twice. Hugo González Peña shows a hot hand and hits a three-pointer in front of the basket.
3′
20:51
Delow serves Koumadje with an alley oop, allowing the Berliners to score again. The offensive rhythm is good, but Madrid hasn’t let up much of anything so far.
2′
8:49 p.m
Thiemann tries a spin move in the front court, but he just misses the throw. In the following offense, Delow scored the first ALba points, but Mario Hezonja responded directly with another successful throw from downtown.
1′
8:48 p.m
Let’s go! Real secures the jump ball and has the first offense. However, the first throw from the middle distance is too short. Thiemann goes up for the rebound, but a Madrilenian is also on the ball. It continues with another jump ball in which Real secures the ball. Mario Hezonja then hits a free three-pointer from the corner.
8:43 p.m
The two teams are on the floor and getting ready for the next 4 x 10 minutes. The hall is not sold out and still has a few gaps, which is why the atmosphere is not exactly boiling over. This can’t be a disadvantage for Berliners, who have nothing to lose today anyway. Berlin starts with the cast Gabriele Procida, Matteo Spagnolo, Malte Delow, Khalifa Koumadje and Johannes Thiemann. The Madrilenians have Facundo Campazzo, Fabien Causeur, Mario Hezonja, Edy Tavares and Eli John Ndiaye in the starting five.
8:31 p.m
The focus at Real Madrid is particularly on guard Facundo Campazzo, who has 12.2 points and 7.8 assists per Euroleague game this season, making him the best player on his team in both categories. His Argentinian compatriot Gabriel Alejandro Deck is the Madrilenians’ most dangerous forward with 12 points per game. However, success at Real has many faces, which is why the team is difficult to calculate and also leads the league with 86.9 points per game. For the Berliners, national player and world champion Johannes Thiemann is the most prominent player and, with 14.3 points per game, also the best scorer in the Euroleague season. He needs support especially from ex-NBA player Sterling Brown. Overall, Alba has the third-worst score with 76.4 points per game and has the weakest field goal percentage (43.3 percent).
20:22
In contrast to Real Madrid, Alba Berlin greets from the other side of the table. The German capital club is in last place with one win and eight defeats and is hardly competitive internationally. The last Euroleague defeats came against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne (68:73) and Partizan Mozzart (74:89). Alba also had to accept a pretty bitter 75:108 defeat against Mitteldeutscher BC in the BBL. Otherwise, at least nationally, things are going very solid with six wins and two defeats.
20:11
Real Madrid is just strolling across the floor in the Euroleague. The Madrilenians have won all eight of their international games this season and are now undisputed at the top of the table. Los Blancos were also unbeaten in the domestic league until last weekend before suffering a 93-99 defeat against Unicaja. However, this was the only defeat of the entire season across all competitions. It goes without saying that the currently best European team is clearly the favorite today.
8:08 p.m
Hello and welcome to the Basketball Euroleague. Real Madrid and ALba Berlin meet this evening. The game starts at 8:45 p.m.!
