The only victory for the team under head coach Rob Edwards came on matchday seven. Away, Luton Town beat Everton FC 2-1. With just five points, Luton is in 18th place and therefore in a direct relegation zone. Last month the promoted team managed a small transfer coup. They have given former England international Andros Townsend a contract until January. The 32-year-old has the experience of 264 Premier League appearances.
