Third conclusion
The Eisbären lead 1-0 against the Kölner Haie after the first third. The Rhinelanders got into the game well and created several chances and were unlucky, among other things, as Wohlgemuth (2nd) hit the crossbar with a shot. But the capital city team also forechecked early from the start and thus repeatedly captured the target. This was also the case before the 1-0 that Boychuk scored in the seventh minute. After that, the Berliners changed things around a bit and were now better in the duels and the Domstadt team hardly got any shots. Can Cologne go one better in the second third and equalize? They definitely have the quality. They have been the most dangerous attacking department in the entire league so far this season.

He was injured in the game against the Nuremberg Ice Tigers. Investigations have now revealed a lower body injury that will require at least three months of downtime.
