After eight match days, Düsseldorf is also in the top field of the 2nd Bundesliga. After two wins at the beginning against Magdeburg and Paderborn, a narrow 1-0 defeat against Sandhausen followed. After that there were two 2-2 draws against Fürth and Braunschweig. Coach Thioune’s team recently won 4-0 against Regensburg, then suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Heidenheim and won 3-1 against Hansa Rostock last weekend. This puts Fortuna in sixth place with 14 points.
