Sims leaves Formula E

Wehrlein in fourth place

Pascal Wehrlein, who steered his Porsche into fourth place, also had a good starting position. Now people at Porsche are hoping that the racing performance will finally be right again and that they can also keep up in the race. Cassidy wins turbulent qualifying

In the final duel, the New Zealander was able to beat Stoffel Vandoorne by a mere 0.08 seconds. He shouldn’t be unhappy with qualifying. After all, he has the best starting position for the race from among the World Cup favorites.

Driving here

The E-Prix takes place at the Red Hook Ferry Terminal in the borough of Brooklyn. The route is 2.320 kilometers in total and is a mix of longer straights and medium-speed corners. The attack zone is in turn ten. Formula E has been a guest in New York for five years. Only in 2020, during the corona pandemic, did the racing series pause. Due to an expansion of the ferry terminal, however, it could be the last time that the racing series makes a stop in New York.

Warm welcome!

The next Formula E double header is coming up. This time it’s about points for the World Cup in New York. After practice and qualifying, the race begins at 7:00 p.m.
