Mid-term conclusion:
The break between St. Pauli and 1. FC Heidenheim is goalless. Heidenheim got off to a strong start, but after about ten minutes the home side found their game and had a few opportunities. Amenyido has the best chance of the game, but his conclusion is too imprecise. After about half an hour, the teams neutralize themselves a little and there are hardly any chances. So we go into the break with a deserved draw.

20:18
The start of the season went better for Heidenheim. Head coach Schmidt’s side are unbeaten in six games and have lost just one second division game this season. This puts the boys from the Ostalb in sixth place in the league with 16 points. Only against HSV was there a narrow 1-0 defeat. Most recently, however, there were two draws. First a 0:0 against the Karlsruher Sportclub and then a 2:2 against promoted Kaiserslautern.
20:09
St. Pauli’s start to the season was not particularly good. After nine games, the North Germans are in twelfth place in the table with ten points. From the first nine games, the team of head coach Schultz, which had a major upheaval in the summer, only won two, drew four and suffered three defeats. Last year’s autumn champions have been without a win for five games and most recently lost 2-0 to Jahn Regensburg.
19:56
Head coach Schmidt changed his starting XI to three positions compared to the 2-2 win against Kaiserslautern. Siersleben, Geipl and Kühlwetter are new in the starting XI for Busch, Schöppner (ankle injury) and Pick.
19:42
Head coach Schultz made four changes to his starting eleven compared to the defeat on the previous day. Ritzka, Smith, Boukhalfa and Aremu are in the starting line-up for Paqarada, Irvine, Fazliji and Daschner.
