At the break, Hoffenheim leads 2-0 at FC Schalke 04. The Gelsenkirchen team showed a clear improvement in performance compared to the 4-0 loss in Leverkusen. After a careless Greiml foul, however, TSG took the lead after a strong Skov penalty (11′). The hosts didn’t let themselves down and remained poisonous, but were rarely able to achieve clear conclusions in a playful way. In most cases, a shot from distance was the method of choice, with Mollet’s strongest shot failing on the right post (30′).
