1:50 p.m

Shortly before the break, the home side put the pressure on again. They besiege the guests’ penalty area, but cannot get through against disciplined Osnabrück players.

1:49 p.m

Official injury time (minutes): 2

45

1:49 p.m

After a corner, Akaki Gogia pulls from a distance. His shot from 25 meters on the left clearly misses the goal. At the end of the Dresdener had also lost his footing.

43

1:47 p.m

Akaki Gogia crosses from the left and finds Stefan Kutschke. The center forward gets his head on the ball, but heads the ball well over the crossbar.

Tooor for VfL Osnabrück, 0:2 by Robert Tesche

Osnabrueck follows up! VfL is awarded a free kick on the right, which Florian Kleinhansl takes from the half field to the centre. At the first post, 15 meters in front of the goal, Robert Tesche gets the ball first and heads the ball in the direction of the lower right corner. Stefan Drljača still has one hand on the ball, but can no longer decisively influence the ball.

39

13:42

Dynamo looks a bit down after conceding. The guests, on the other hand, seem more motivated and are now trying to put the hosts under even more pressure.

36

13:39

Michael Akoto

Tooor for VfL Osnabrück, 0: 1 by Michael Akoto (own goal)

The guests are given the tour for free! Noel Niemann crosses from the right halffield and Michael Akoto wants to head the ball back to his own goalkeeper without putting pressure on him. He nods the ball against the direction of his goalkeeper, who still slips slightly, into his own net. That is bitter.

34

13:37

In midfield, Simakala lets the next opponent out and tries to finish from 25 meters. But he only hits a defender of the hosts.

31

1:35 p.m

The first big chance of the game goes to the guests. Noel Niemann gets the ball in the penalty area and puts it on Ba-Muaka Simakala. The man from Osnabrück lets Jonathan Meier run into space with a good feint and shoots free-standing from seven meters. His shot just missed the right post of the Drljača goal.

29

13:33

Sven Köhler plays a wonderful long ball to Noel Niemann, who actually only has Stefan Drljača in front of him. Tim Knipping, however, rushes over strongly, pushes the winger to the left and thus defuses the scene. That was wonderfully defended by the home side’s captain.

27

13:31

On the left, Sven Köhler submits his application for the first yellow card of the game. After Tim Knipping went on the offensive, the man from Osnabrück brought down the Dynamo captain with a body check. The referee left the warning in his pocket.

25

13:29

After a good 25 minutes, the game still lacks scoring chances. Dynamo had the better approach, but could not seriously endanger Philipp Kühn’s goal. At VfL even good approaches are in short supply.

23

13:26

Michael Akoto goes down again. This time he’s on the center line and needs treatment. He initially limps off the pitch but appears to be able to continue playing

21

13:25

The referee’s decisions are loudly questioned on both sides. Perhaps the referee should stop the culture of open discussion on the pitch with a warning.

19

13:23

In his own sixteen, Michael Akoto goes down against Felix Higl, accompanied by a loud scream. The Dresdeners play the ball in and the defender can continue. The guests then return the ball fairly.

17

13:21

After a strong first ten minutes by Dresden, the game has calmed down a bit. Many ball wins take place in midfield, so that the last third of the two teams remains unplayed.

14

13:17

So far, Dynamo has consistently prevented the guests from playing in an orderly manner. Philipp Kühn increasingly has to resort to long balls.

11.

13:15

Dresden countered via Akaki Gogia on the right. The winger puts the ball across to Patrick Weihrauch, who shoots from a central position 18 meters away. Maxwell Gyamfi is right in the line of fire and blocks the shot into Philipp Kühn’s arms.

9.

13:13

The home side are the much more active team in the early stages. The guests from Osnabrück have been safe at the back so far, so there have not been any good chances to score.

7.

13:11

Jonathan Meier crosses from the left to the far post, where Florian Kleinhansl cannot clear against Patrick Weihrauch. The Dresdener plays the ball in the backcourt to Akaki Gogia, but it takes too long for the guests to prevent a conclusion.

5.

13:08

After a weak pass from Tim Knipping, Max Kulke can only hold his own against Felix Higl with a foul. The referee leaves it so early in the game with a warning.

2.

13:06

Dynamo starts ambitiously. Ahmet Arslan crosses sharply from the right into the middle, but finds no takers. Jonathan Meier brings the ball back into the center from the other side and the guests can clear things up for the time being. In the back room, the ball falls in front of Max Kulke’s feet, but he doesn’t hit the playground equipment properly and can’t get it onto the VfL goal.

1.

13:03

Let’s go in Dresden! A few minutes late referee Wolfgang Haslberger whistles the game.

12:47 p.m

Dresden coach Markus Anfang made three changes to his starting XI compared to the draw at bottom side Bayreuth. Midfielder Kulke replaced central defender Ehlers in the starting XI, suggesting a more offensive orientation. In addition, the double storm from Schäffler and Borkowski takes place on the bench. In return, Weihrauch and Kutschke storm from the start. Osnabrück coach Tobias Schweinsteiger was visibly satisfied with his winning team against Mannheim. Only an injury forces the coach to make a change. Rorig starts as right-back for the missing Traoré.

12:37 p.m

The two teams are meeting today for the 17th time. While the overall balance is balanced, Dynamo Dresden was always ahead in the third division. Oldenburg, who in turn dominated the duels in the second division, could not win any of the previous six third division duels. The two teams last met in the 2019/2020 season. VfL won the first leg at home 3-0. On the last day of the season, both teams drew 2-2 in the second leg and Dynamo Dresden was relegated to bottom of the table. Even a victory for Dresden would not have changed anything.

12:27

The guests from Osnabrück are also in good form at the moment. From the last four league games, the Lower Saxony took ten out of a possible twelve points. Last week, Osnabrück’s Waldhof Mannheim even beat Mannheim 5-0 in their own stadium. Despite the good form, Tobias Schweinsteiger’s team is only in the middle of the table with 13 points. With a win, however, the guests could move up from twelfth to ninth place and would thus catch up to the hosts from Dresden to one point.

12:10 p.m

The hosts from Dresden are after ten games played with 17 points in eighth place and are eight points behind the top of the table. The Dresdeners are four points behind the relegation place where SV Wehen Wiesbaden is at the moment, but could close the gap to one point with a win and work their way up to fourth place, because Wehen Wiesbaden beat FSV Zwickau 1-0 yesterday has hit. In the league, the team coached by Markus Anfang has been unbeaten for five games. However, the last two games only ended in a draw, so a win today is essential in order not to lose touch with the top of the table.

12:02

Hello and welcome to the 3rd division on Sunday. At 1 p.m. Dynamo Dresden welcomes VfL Osnabrück.
