It was 0-0 at the break in Sunday’s Bundesliga game between Borussia Mönchengladbach and 1. FSV Mainz 05. The Rheinhessen team got off to a surprisingly offensive and goal-oriented start and made many deals from promising positions in the early stages. However, they failed to overcome Sommer and reward themselves for the strong start. The Farke selection only increased their shares slightly after a very shaky start and through Thuram in the 24th minute they seriously approached the visitors’ goal for the first time, but were basically unable to shake off their reactive role.
